My Students

My wonderful school is located in an urban neighborhood that, while large, manages to have a family feel. My students come from all over the world, including Bangladesh, Mexico, China, Yemen, and Russia, to name just a few countries.

As an art teacher for the lower grades, I have the good luck to see my students in all their creative glory.

Art is a time for the children to unwind, practice important skills, and learn new ways to express themselves.

My Project

My goal this year is to add extra spark and interesting materials to the art room! I am asking for metallic markers, as they make drawing extra special for my students. They really pop on dark paper and I am excited about the possibilities. I am asking for fidget poppers for my students who learn best while keeping their hands busy. The books are for learning about artists, inspiring projects, and teaching the children to draw. The STEM toys are for early finishers and choice time. Thank you very much for thinking about the littlest artists!
