My Students

Our school is located in a beautiful coastal community. The students that attend our school come from various backgrounds, ability levels and experiences. Our school serves children from all backgrounds and languages. We serve a high number of English as a Second Language Students. We are a Title One, high poverty school.

My kindergarten class this year consists of 19 kids.

I know that they will come in excited and ready to learn and play. I am looking forward to an exciting year.

My Project

I would love to be able to spread the love of learning that I have about the many wonderful cultures of the world with my students. These materials would help me share vocabulary, photographs and other unique facts about a variety of cultures.

Many children do not ever have the chance to travel abroad and see what our world has to offer.

If we are able to receive these items, my students will be able to see what life is like in other countries. A sort of field trip around the world without leaving our classroom.
