My Project

“Math may not teach students how to add love or subtract hate, but it gives everyone hope that every problem has a solution.”

My problem?

I need the tools for math instruction so my students can succeed!

My students need calculators. Teaching middle school math requires scientific calculators for success. Unfortunately, many of my students cannot afford such a luxury. I would like to have 20 calculators for students to use in class.

I’d also like to have a number line with negative numbers for students to refer to as needed. I cannot assume they will all understand negative numbers when they walk into my room this fall.

Lastly I’d like to provide each student with a multiplication facts sticker for their math folder. Unfortunately, my middle school students were in the grades where multiplication facts are taught and memorized during COVID shutdowns and distance learning.
