Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Students

My students are very active, excited achievers. They are very physical and love to be outside. Speaking about sports with them makes them feel like they fit in and are also part of a team.

Half of my students are athletes who are great but I feel that physical education makes them learn about themselves physically and also about their bodies.

My student will benefit from learning archery because it will help them come together in and out of my class.

My Project

My kids will need archery equipment because it is learning a step-by-step method for drawing a bow and shooting an arrow. My kids will quickly learn that by slowing down and focusing on one step at a time, they are more successful at putting arrows in the middle of the target.

When they make a mistake, we teach them that the solution is to analyze their steps and focus on improving one thing at a time.

This is a great recipe for success on the archery field, in the classroom, and in life.

This is why we need archery equipment.
