This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

I plan to use this project to show my class how the fish survive in their habitat daily. They will have an opportunity to witness firsthand the day-to-day life of fish. We have studied various animals and their habitat. I have several special education students in my class and I would love for them to be in charge of this project.

Responsibility is a very important skill for fifth graders and this will teach them to be responsible and learn at the same time.

While learning about various fish they would also have to learn about the temperature needed for the aquarium as well as the food and everyday needs of fish.
