My Project

We have a thriving aquarium club at my high school and have to restrict the number of students who join due to the lack of equipment. These filters and lights will help my students raise beautiful tropical fish and plants while saving energy with efficient filters and low-wattage LED lights.

Full spectrum LED lights are great for growing aquatic plants and also bring out the natural colors of our aquascapes and fish.

Eheim filters are considered the most reliable in the industry, engineered in Germany, and beloved by many hobbyists. Having this project funded will greatly increase the enjoyment and success my students will experience with their natural biotopes.

Finally, many studies have shown that raising and watching tropical fish reduces stress, something our teens are no strangers to.
