My Project

My scholars come to school everyday eager to learn. They truly embody the the definition of perseverance. They are met with so many challenges while at home.

My scholars are from an area that is plagued with high poverty and unemployment, just North of the largest city in Texas.

They work hard each day, and they come to school with a positive mindset. I would like to make sure my scholars have the same opportunities to learn as their peers, who are not facing the same obstacles.

My project includes items that will allow me to help engage scholars and drive them to develop skills that are necessary for the technological world and to build a strong foundation in history. The iPad and the apple tv will enable me to give my scholars the opportunity to go on virtual field trips. I will be able to use these materials to project different historical experiences on the board. My scholars are talented and full of zest however, they are severely disadvantaged. They are ready to conqueror the world. I want to make sure that I prepare them for their journey. These resources will help me do so!
