My Students

With technology on the rise, I want to be able to incorporate it as much as possible into students learning. Students learn best from teaching, and the Apple TV will allow my students to teach and learn from each other.

I teach 2nd grade.

My students are bright inquisitive and wanting to learn more all of the time. My students range in learning abilities and styles. My school is located in a rural community and many of my students do not have access to technology at home.

My Project

The Apple TV will be used in the classroom by both the teacher and the students. Students learn best from each other. Students will be making projects and doing research on the iPad and it would a great thing for students to be able to see what other students are doing. The iPad will also be used by the teacher and be able to circulate around the room while also reaching the majority of the class using the Apple TV.

This project will allow me to differentiate my instruction in the classroom.

My class will be able to work more easily as a whole group by projecting my work and other students' work on the smartboard, allowing students to share their work with their peers, and showing videos to the class.
