My Students

Technology and Education are growing more and more interconnected every day.

My students comprise a class of bright and motivated 9th graders in a Special Education setting.

My students have been classified with a range of intellectual disabilities. I am proud to teach this group of curious and inspired teenagers, and I hope to give them the best instructional opportunities possible.

My Project

A laptop computer will allow me to guide my students with a genuinely differentiated approach as we move through the year. We will be able to use the computer to access current Online resources that our institution's desktop machines are simply no longer suited for. With the use of visual, and interactive presentations in combination with a classroom projector, we will be able to explore units with more reliability, detail and clarity.

In a special education classroom, technology provides access to to new ideas and understandings that may not be achieved using other approaches.

As our world advances, our students must keep up, and we must show them the way.
