My Students

Imagine walking into a school and seeing students' faces light up like they just won a trip to Disney. Well, this is definitely the reaction that you would see from my students.

Our school is Title 1 with all students receiving free breakfast and lunch.

The age range is from 4 to 11 years old. Many of our children live a very stressful life, partially due to low income and everyday happenings. It is a shame that at such an early age, they have to see and witness so much loss.

My Project

The socioeconomic background in our school is middle to lower income students; therefore, some of them cannot afford a computer. My classroom is where they learn the skills to utilize the computer and hopefully, these skills will help them in the future.

As you know, the technology era is here.

I think my students deserve a fair education. A good way to do this is by having an inviting classroom where they feel comfortable and eager to learn; however, there is limited funding and only so much I can do.

I am asking you for help in making a dream come true! I would like to see my students using the latest technology to do research for the upcoming state exams. They have so many questions and not all the answers. Wouldn't it be nice hearing them talk to Siri on the iPad to find out? Or doing a search for their unanswered questions? Our children deserve a fair chance in education and you can help be part of it. How great would that be?
