Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Students

My students are creative, inquisitive and eager to learn. I have had the privilege of getting to know most of them since they were in kindergarten. Their progress year after year has been a source of pride.

They come to school day after day with a smile on their face and determined to tackle any instructional task that may come their way.

When it comes to technology they are confident and enthusiastic. They are a source of motivation to each other and their teachers.

My Project

As my students become independent learners having technology accessible to them is a necessity. If my students had these tablets, they could then access pre-approved apps that would allow them to listen and follow along with books they choose. In addition they could use the tablets for math applications and even science. The uses for these tablets in the classroom would be endless.

It would be wonderful to see my students benefit and grow through the use of this technology.

Our students are exposed to technology in their everyday lives. When it comes to technology they are fearless. Wouldn't it be great to harness that interest and knowledge into something educational and beneficial for them?
