My Project

Students will use sensors to collect data about both our local water features and labratory water samples. Students analyze dissolved oxygen data to determine health of water and develop plans to improve water quality.

Authentic lab experiences help students perform well on the AP exam and gives them a better appreciate for the complexities of nature.

Students get to see how our local ecosystems are affected by weather, human activities, and seasons. Students will use the data to find ways to improve the health of our creeks and ponds. They will also work with local agencies to understand how their data compares.
