This project is part of the Black History Month celebration because it supports a Black teacher or a school where the majority of the students are Black.
My Students
As the College Board Exam date is approaching, my students are having difficulty in completing their online assignments, projects, and practice tests. Due to COVID 19, our local library is closed, and schools are closed as well. We are a Title I school district, and it is in a rural area. Most of the students live in the countryside and internet connection is unavailable. I have 18 students who are taking AP computer science and AP physics; they are in critical need of (hotspots) internet connection and the Chromebooks.
My Project
Holmes County Central High School AP instructor is pleased to propose for your review the need of 18 Chromebooks for the AP students. My AP students are struggling to complete their final projects before the exam. As the college board exam is approaching, please help my AP students to have an opportunity to complete their final projects and final exam in May 2020. Our students are not having computer devices available, and their review is approaching. Consequently, many students are unable to complete their final projects. Due to COVID 19, our schools and the local library is closed, Our district tried to provide the Chromebooks to the students, but we are Title 1 school district, and we have limited technology resources.
