My Project

Our school is a Title I school in Queens that is providing ample opportunities for our students to partake in the AP Research program. As a former Renewal School, it is important that we provide our students with equitable resources as other schools around the world.

These students write a full research paper consisting of, but not limited to: introduction, literature review, methodology, results, analysis, discussion, and future direction.

Think of this as a high school level dissertation!!! Following their papers, consisting of 4,000-5,000 words, students defend their project with a presentation, showcasing their newfound knowledge. Students improve their reading, writing, listening and speaking skills throughout this course by analyzing and synthesizing college level texts!

Funding this project will allow students to have access to college level texts and materials needed to make them college ready!
