My Project

These books will be used directly by students. We have a large selection of fiction books, and nonfiction books are always scarce but of high interest! Our students would engage with these texts to practice finding main ideas and details, summarize, synthesize, and make connections across texts on the same topic. They will also give us more opportunities to hunt for text features. Students go book shopping weekly and would benefit from a larger variety of engaging nonfiction texts to choose from and they are also a wonderful resource for inspiring nonfiction writers!
