Help me give my students The resources need to keep their anger under control. All materials will be used in the school's calm corners and guidance offices to help students keep their emotions under control.

Celebrate Black Teachers and Students

This project is part of the Black History Month celebration because it supports a Black teacher or a school where the majority of the students are Black.

My Students

The students at our high school are vibrant and full of life. The student body is diverse and full of potential. The student body operates as a family for the most part, with kids that are willing to lend a hand to their peers and staff members. Like most students, they have a hard transition back to school from COVID-initiated virtual learning.

My Project

These materials will be used in the school's calming corners and guidance offices to help students keep their emotions under control. With the necessary resources, students will be better equipped to deal with triggers and stressors that can be detrimental to the learning environment. All the materials will be readily available to the students when they are on the verge of making bad decisions based on anger. The students need every resource they can get to decrease the number of suspensions and loss of learning time. By giving the students these items, we can say we are putting our best foot forwards to help the whole student grow.
