My Project

After our book club finishes reading the book, And Then, Boom! we will have a 20 minute Q&A with the author, Lisa Fipps. Connecting students to authors helps to deepen a love for literature as they gain knowledge for writer's craft through an authentic learning experience. Who better to talk about books and the writing process with than a published author? Engaging students in the library with high-interest books, creating memorable learning experiences, and sparking a love of reading is crucial during middle school. Often students become more interested in other activities and their love for reading and the time they spend with a good book begins to diminish. Help me hook and motivate readers in our library!
