My Students

My students at LMAAC are truly exceptional! They are full of questions and excitement, especially when it comes to Ancient Egypt and Ancient Greece! Students absolutely love these hands-on, active, engaging projects and challenges that allow them to inquire and explore!

Coming to school each day and having students take chances, think outside the box, and grow socially, personally, and academically make LMAAC a wonderful place to be!

My Project

What is the first thing you think of when you hear the words "Ancient Egypt"? Most likely... It's the mummies and pyramids! Did you know that the brain was removed through the nose, and the whole mummification process took 70 days? We will be creating our own mummies and unique coffins thankfully in less time and in a much more friendly and fun way!

Percy Jackson and the Lightning Thief is the first book of a five-part series. It's an engaging adventure centered around ancient Greek mythology in current times. The life of Percy Jackson draws you in, and the book is hard to put down, especially when we find out Percy is a threat to Zeus. And soon, we find out who Percy really is...
