My Students
"I'm starting with the Man in the Mirror. I'm asking him to change his ways. And no message could've been any clearer; if you want to make the world a better place take a look at yourself and then make a change" -Michael Jackson's 'Man in the Mirror'
The students of my charter school are living examples of the changes we should all be trying to make in this world.
My music classroom is a safe learning environment that revolves around creativity, respect, and a collaborative approach to music education.
My Project
This year we are so lucky as to receive a large, beautiful room just for our music classes! With this big exciting move, comes a lot of classroom needs such as borders for our project walls, anchor charts for the students to reference around the room, the need for music books in our library, and staved dry erase posters to use with the students (as most classrooms just have plain whiteboards).
With instruments from around the world, we'll also be able to explore music from different cultures and expand our students worldly knowledge!
The rotating caddies and reusable wipe pockets will be perfect tools for our students to practice writing and rewriting musical terms and notation!
More than a third of students from low‑income households
Data about students' economic need comes from the National Center for Education Statistics, via our partners at MDR Education. Learn more
