This project is part of the Black History Month celebration because it supports a Black teacher or a school where the majority of the students are Black.
My Students
My students are spontaneous sponges! They are so eager to soak up all the knowledge. Most of my students in my class aren't given a chance to go and experience education outside of the classroom. I would love to have the opportunity to take my students to the zoo so that they can learn about various animals and their habitats. My students will learn so much from this field trip. They will be able to share their knowledge with others.
My Project
My project will give students a chance to see real animals up close and personal when they spend a day at the Riverbanks Zoo and Garden. The students will get to explore animals that they may have only learned about in books or a movie. With this project, the students will get hands-on experiences. The students will be allowed to pet and feed some of the animals that are on exhibit at the zoo. The students will have memories of a lifetime. The students have studied about different animals, and it would be wonderful for them to actually be able to see the books in real life.
