Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Students

My class consists of 21 wonderful and curious students who are learning to read and use technology. Due to the pandemic, this is the first year my students have been in a consistent classroom since 2020. My students have so much potential and are missing some key resources. They work super hard and they are eager and excited to learn. We are a Title I school and all of our students receive free meals throughout the day.

My Project

This project is focused on teacher organization and a place for math manipulatives. I currently do not have a place for my math manipulatives and would love to have some plastic bins for them to be stored. This would save me some time before my school day starts due to the fact that I would not need to take them out of the closet and put them away. These plastic bins fit on our school's bookcases and are perfect to fit all of my student's math tools.

Teachers have many papers and student files to keep track of and this file cabinet is perfect for that.

The binders will also assist me with storing original copies for future use. The rolling cart is for my student's art supplies including their colored pencils, crayons, and glue sticks. It would provide organization for my students and add to our overall classroom environment.
