Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
Give this project a boost!
A chain reaction of support starts with one share.
My two classes consist of students who receive learning support and come from low income families. My students have a difficultly with Reading and Math, but by supporting one another and utilizing strategies to help my students their skills will improve.
While working inside the classroom, I like to consider myself and my students to be a community where we all work with each other and learn from one another.

My Project
I am a new teacher this year but, this is my 3rd year in this school. Some parents cannot afford buying school supplies. All of these materials will help the whole class having a clean, healthier and organized environment with less germs. A teachers planner will be beneficial to keep students planned activities and calendar organized.
Winter is approaching and germs can easily spread.
All cleaning supplies will be very useful in the classroom because we do not get any and parents cannot afford buying them. Students will also get the supplies as a tool because some of them do not bring supplies to school. Copy paper and printer ink will be very helpful because I make a lot of copies for IEPs, daily work, homework and letters for parents. I service students with learning difficulties. I modify the lessons for them so it can be easier to understand. The students are in 8th grade and some of them are at a reading and math level of 2,3 and 4 grade level.
All these supplies will be very beneficial and very useful in our classroom. It will be christmas for us if we get them in our classroom.
