My Students

Reading can be so exciting with an iPad! My class has one ipad, but would like to have more. Our new science curriculum has online leveled readers, and with two iPads, twice as many children will get to enjoy reading books on their level. The possibilities are endless with an iPad!

My students come from a high poverty area We have 75% on free and reduced lunches.

Many come from broken homes. Our school is a Title One school that is dedicated to the education and care of our students. We work hard to create an exciting and dynamic learning environment and our students feel safe and secure at school.

My Project

Students learn best in an environment that promotes learning. My students will thrive with more access to online books. They are curious and love to learn new things. Most of them love to read and enjoy taking accelerated reading tests. With an iPad, they will read stories, play learning games, take Accelerated Reader tests, and so much more.

My students have had to make many adjustments due to the tornado that hit our school.

We are currently housed at a church. Having a second iPad will give us more online time since we no longer have a computer lab like we did at our school. With only two student computers and one iPad, another iPad will greatly increase our online abilities.
