My Students

The little first graders that walk into my classroom are so eager to learn, willing to take risks, and are so excited to begin each day. Each transition into a new subject is met with smiles, wonder, and curiosity that is contagious!

While our school is in a beautiful neighborhood and is part of an amazing community, we don't qualify for very much additional funding for our classrooms.

I would love to provide each of my students with the opportunity to enrich their learning experience through access to technology.

My Project

Phones, iPads, and computers are used DAILY in our everyday world, but aren't as easily accessible for students in classrooms. My sweet and creative little first graders love being able to use technology in all subject areas and I would love to give them access to learning through technology on a daily basis.

An iPad in our classroom will help create more authentic learning experiences for my students.

While we have a few desktop computers and a couple of Chromebooks in our classroom, we would love to expand our use of technology and explore the various learning apps and features offered by an Apple iPad.

I would love for my kiddos to be able to access different apps that reinforce skills and promote higher level thinking in math, writing, and reading. My students can use an iPad to work in centers, assist them in writing, reading, learning phonemic awareness skills, working with math manipulatives and more. iPads are innovative and amazing tools that should be present in every classroom.
