This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

This will be my first year teaching a full year of kindergarten! It will be amazing to meet my students at the start of the year with a classroom full of all the necessary tools for student success. My students will be coming from a low-income, under-served community in the heart of East Los Angeles, Ca. I would like to provide them with a warm and enriched classroom environment but need help in obtaining the basic learning resources to create such an environment.

These much needed resources will fill the classroom with tools and visual aids that kindergarteners need to be successful learners!

Resources such as numbers, letters, shapes, and colors posters will turn our blank walls into learning tools! Thank you in advance for supporting my project!
