My Students

We are a 1st grade class in new and growing school in Brooklyn. Our school includes children from many different backgrounds and cultures. My students love school and look forward to coming to our safe and nurturing environment every day. They love books, being together and learning about technology.

My Project

It's never too early to learn 21st generation technological skills. My students are open and eager to learn all about using the internet responsibly and building their knowledge around technology but are often distracted by the hard headsets we use in the classroom. With so many students in the classroom, its unimaginable to use our tablets without headsets and others may need a quiet area to focus in.

With your help, students can do so comfortably with new soft padded headsets and flexible seating.

Floor seating will allow students who need space to work options in the classroom, will headphones with padding will make the learning experience more enjoyable for everyone. Your donation will help these students stay focused, engaged and comfortable!
