My Students

My students are creative, thoughtful and full of questions! They absolutely love hands-on, active, engaging projects and challenges that allow them to think outside the box to find solutions! They come to school each day ready to try new things and take brave chances in order to grow both personally and academically. Truly, they are my inspiration!

My Project

My students are full of energy and are excited about learning. This can cause their voices to carry while they are working collaboratively in groups. They are on task, but the noise level can be distracting to their peers if they are learning independently. My classroom is set up in seats of two, so when groups are working together I have other students working independently. My goal is to get a set of noise-canceling headphones so students can work with fewer distractions, while they are working independently. The Noise-canceling headphones would be beneficial to what my students need in order to work in all learning environments. I have seen how choice can positively affect my students work and demeanor and hope that the additional options will help us grow even more!
