I teach in a low-income/high poverty school district and my students are faced with several challenges both in and out of the classroom. Despite the many challenges they face, I am looking to keep things simple and provide my students with creative and meaningful learning experiences.
My students work hard every day to fulfill their learning goals as readers and writers.
They are finding the joy in reading as we move from fiction to nonfiction texts, and are building skills they will use for the rest of their lives.
My Project
Our class is working on creating a class book with original papers and artwork. We would like to have these resources to work on our illustrations that go along with our writing pieces. Having a light box and color pencils will allow us to bringing our papers to light with beautiful illustrations that we have created based on the work we have done in writing our class book. We have many aspiring artists that would enjoy having these resources available to use to enhance their drawing skills. Thank you in advance for your donations.
