My Project

Please consider helping me reach over 400 of my students! I am a math teacher of almost 30 years and have struggled with the transition to the remote world during the pandemic. My classroom is in desperate need of an up-to-date computer, so that I can more efficiently upload assignments on Google Classroom. Since transitioning to a remote classroom, it has been more difficult to maintain both a traditional and a remote classroom with inefficient technology. I am asking for donations to help provide my students with the necessary accommodations. I teach math in a school with 780 students, more than half of them live below the poverty line. In addition, over 25% of the students are English Language Learners. Having a new computer will allow me to create print-rich materials that can be transferable online, so that they can work on it at home. This way, students can access materials during school-wide closures or absences due to the ongoing pandemic.
