Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

An Apple MacBook Air computer will give my students access to the latest technology to enhance their learning. Imagine a classroom where students have access to interactive learning daily in small groups! The learning tool that I am requesting for my students already has a place in my lessons. In other words, I know exactly how I will be using it in my teaching! Our class just needs your support in making these learning opportunities happen! I am requesting donations to aid in the purchase of the computer to use during small group lessons.

As a special education teacher, I have the privilege of working with some exceptional students with different learning styles.

When differentiating lessons with my co-teacher, we often adapt our instruction to the individual needs of the students by working with students in smaller groups and providing the appropriate tools to aid my students in reaching their learning goals.

The Macbook computer will be used to create engaging materials that provide personalized learning experiences for students, such as interactive presentations during lessons, slideshows, paced-lessons and visual aids to meet the needs of my amazing students.
