Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

As a foreign language teacher, I try my best to learn new technology and how to apply it in the classroom. The pandemic helped teachers and students see technology in a different way, technology has become an important part of education. I personally use technology daily in my classroom and these iPad is going to help me help my students. I use PearDeck, Kahoot, GoGuardian and Kami and some of these are add-ons for Google Documents. The students love PearDeck and Kahoot lessons because they get to practice and improve their Spanish in a creative way. The iPad will help me not only to create fun, engaging activities for my students but also to give feedback to my students as they complete the lesson instead of being at my desk during the lesson. I could walk around the classroom to continue keeping all students engaged and will give the feedback using these materials.

With the help of the iPad, I will be able to help students experience a more stress-free environment as well as to help them with their 21st-century skills.

Besides increasing student engagement with the use of iPad, my students can benefit from quick feedback to enhance learning in class.
