My Project

My first grade class of 20 amazing students is a place of challenge and discovery. My students spend this year learning the foundation of knowledge and skills they will need as they move forward in their educational career. We are an incredibly diverse group and every single person has their own background and story. Although we may be from different cultures, states, or even countries, we are one big happy and enthusiastic family.

My students need an ipad pro to use in small reading and math groups to help build the skills/concepts taught in our 1st grade curriculum.

Thee are so many apps that are available that will help my students gain the literacy that they need to survive and be successful in our world. This ipad pro with the case will help my students to work on reading and math skills together in a small group setting; as well as, whole group. I the will help them develop the reading and financial literacy they need to be successful during their lifetime. they need and ipad pro to connect to the Promethean board and document camera to help creates an interactive learning environment. This will help to introduce, reinforce, and enrich new concepts taught in our curriculum. This would help us meet the requirements across our first curriculum that includes reading/language arts, science, social studies and math. A lot of our resources require a computer for the reinforcement and enrichment programs. This ipad pro would help engage the students in many ways. This project will help because we run into all kinds of computer problems daily so this ipad pro would be very beneficial to my students. I want them to have all the necessary materials needed to help them meet all the standards in first grade.
