Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

I am so honored to have the opportunity to work with and teach ELA to two different classes every year. One of the best parts of the learning day is when they are able to choose their own books from my classroom library and just enjoy reading for a while. They also have the opportunity to borrow the books overnight. This is important because many of them don’t have easy access to many books. Although sharing books with my 60+ students is an absolute pleasure, they also get worn very quickly I also have to replace them regularly. I would like to continue providing beautiful high quality reading materials to my students!
