Celebrate Black Teachers and Students

This project is part of the Black History Month celebration because it supports a Black teacher or a school where the majority of the students are Black.

My Students

Enthusiasm to learn. I have seen tremendous growth from August til now. The students have been lacking formal in-person instruction for over a year so its refreshing to see the "light bulb" flash. I look forward to bring more quality structure to assist with my small group instruction.

My Project

The materials will give the children an opportunity to practice sounds and to solve for less and more in Math. The items can be used for small group instruction as well as choice play.

For example, we can use the materials to reemphasize lessons previously discussed.

The donations to this project will help to improve my students' understanding of and competency in authentic, meaningful writing in addition to computation.

I have seen how choice can positively affect my students work and demeanor and hope that the additional options will help us grow even more!
