This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

For my special needs students, incorporating headphones and manipulatives into our learning centers is a necessity. Headphones allow students to minimize auditory distractions while using our online learning system called ready for both reading and math. Headphones enable students to focus on their tasks without overwhelming external stimuli.

Meanwhile, manipulatives provide tangible aids, fostering sensory engagement and enhancing comprehension through hands-on exploration.

Many of my students are struggling readers, and these tools empower students to grasp concepts at their own pace, foster independence, and boost their confidence within our learning environment.
