My Project

Our school district has adopted a new reading curriculum this year, and we have been so impressed with the reading and writing growth of our students from August until now. Our students have enjoyed learning about the different perspectives of George Washington versus King George III and how their points of view impacted the thoughts and behaviors leading up to the Revolutionary War.

One of the struggles our students have been experiencing is having to share books.

As students are looking to practice their reading fluency and searching for text evidence, they would appreciate having the opportunity to have their own individual book to read and learn from. This project will help provide individual books for students in all three fifth-grade classrooms at our school.
