My Students

My students are a group of fun, intelligent and innovative learners! I am excited to get the year started with this new group of students that push my thinking and challenge my practice.

As a Title 1 school, we have limited resources and many of our students come from under-invested communities.

Although our students face daily hardships that affect them economically, emotionally, socially, and physically, they arrive to school each day ready to learn and SOAR to our goals.

My Project

The tablets will help my students achieve several learning outcomes during small group instruction and independent practice. Students will be able to learn how to efficiently use a tablet for tasks, such as typing, communicating and researching. These skills are essential for the 21st century citizen.

During small group instruction, students will have opportunities to use the tablets to further practice various STEM skills needed for proficiency.

They may also use independent practice time to further assist them with challenging skills. Students will have the opportunity to revisit targeted skills that were challenging.

The students will be learn how to research topics that are of interest. During science, we will explore a variety of topics that we have more questions.
