My Students

Help us improve our reading and writing skills with thesaurus and mentor picture books.

My class is made up of 34 children.

They attend a Title I school in Queens. Our children receive free lunch and free breakfast. We have over 40 languages spoken and many children are English language learners. My class is eager to learn and experience new things.

My Project

Reading and writing play a powerful role in the lives of children. In order to become stronger and better writers children need to follow in the example of published authors. With these three mentor picture books we can improve on our own writing. In order to improve our vocabulary, thesauri are a vital tool. They help us to banish boring words from our writing and create lively pieces for all to read.

Please help us improve our writing skills through the use of picture books and thesaurus.

Your help will really help us to become life long writers. With the help of these materials we will improve our skills.
