This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

My students are extremely eager about learning. They come to school every day with smiles on their faces, joy in their hearts, and energy to last us all day. My students consistently give their best effort despite circumstances at home.

Their little brains have lived through a lot in their little lives; multiple of my students have walked through divorce, homelessness, hunger, poverty, illness, death, and horrific tragedy for such precious little ones.

Some students come from difficult home situations and school is a place where they can be free from the stress, and reading gives them the freedom to be anywhere they want to be.
