Amazing Middle School Students

Help me give my students a zotz or dove chocolate promise piece when they are caught doing something above and beyond what is normally expected of middle school students.

My Students

Our middle school is made up of students from some diverse backgrounds. We have multiple languages spoken at home and families that have come here from all over the world.

I am lucky to capture our students doing positive things for others.

I also try to be the soft spot for the students that are struggling or having a bad day.

My Project

My office is the heart of our school, which also means it is a busy office. I am often looking to grab a student to help me with walking a new student to their first class, a pass for a student to leave early and sometimes even bringing a tuba to the band room.

Providing students that step up to help with a small piece of candy just to say thank you, especially when the student helps with a willing heart, is a great way to reward that spirit.

Rewards are never a guarantee in life, but especially in middle school, catching a student doing something right and thanking them with a smile and a piece a candy, goes a long way. This is especially important when you catch a student that is normally not making good choices.
