Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Students

My students walk into our classroom every day full of life, ready to learn, and excited for what is in store for them that day. I want them to know I believe in them and they can do anything.

My school is a Dual Immersion school that serves students in grades K-5 and provides rigorous academics, fantastic teachers, and a safe learning environment.

As a result, we are consistently one of the high performing schools in the district each year.

My Project

These materials will keep our classroom art supplies well stocked with vibrant color paints, water colors and pastel crayons for my students to use and let their creativity run. My students are always excited to participate in art lessons. The storage bins will help keeping the materials organized and easily accessible to students. The new materials will replace items that are no longer being replaced by the school. It is important to keep up the creative arts in my classroom because it keeps students motivated to participate in other academic areas. I believe in a well-balanced classroom where students have the opportunity to shine in different ways.
