Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

I would like to help my students become lifelong readers. My classroom library is a place that my students really enjoy. One of the reasons why my students love books is that they get to choose the books they read. I chose these books with my students' interests in mind. With your support, my class will be able to read these amazing and high interest books.

With these new books, my students will be able to choose from a variety of topics that will encourage them to read more.

The best way to increase reading ability is to read more. These books are filled with adventures that young readers enjoy. My students already have shown an astonishing interest in independent reading, and this project will only help enrich their experiences with the printed word.
