My Project

I am a teacher of amazing multi-language learners. My students are learning English as a second or third or fourth language. At the beginning of the year, I need to build a community that will help my students feel confident and excited about the things we are going to learn together. These supplies are just the ticket.

My students need the opportunity to learn through multiple modalities.

With a variety of materials, like non-fiction books, including Science Graphic Novels, atlases and cookbooks (my students are going to LOVE those!), sentence strips, friendship bracelet makers and dry erase boards--we will be able to expand on the learning that we do in class and deepen their thinking. I'm also requesting a beautiful lamp so that my students can enjoy the space we work together in on these activities and practice their teamwork skills. Time spent working on collaborative projects is important to our collective experiences.

These STEM activities and books will bring my students so much joy. It's great for practicing our teamwork, patience, and persistence. Thank you so much for giving us this opportunity!
