My Students

My first graders are energetic and enthusiastic students. They enjoy learning and active play. They get so excited when it is time to be active and to learn new activities throughout the day.

My first graders represent many diverse ethnic backgrounds and come from a wide range of socioeconomic backgrounds.

There is a wide range of academic abilities in our classroom. Students are eager to learn and strive to do their best at all times. They enjoy interactive and hands-on learning.

My Project

My students work so hard to be writers. They write narrative, informational, and opinion pieces.

One of the thing that motivates students to be great writers is to be able to share their writing.

Many students will stand up in front of the class to read their writing to their classmates and they glow with pride.

We would now like to take their writing and publish them into class books using the TruBind Coil Binding Machine. After the books are made we will place them in a special place in our classroom library so all of the students can borrow them and read their classmates' writing. My students would be so proud to have their writing published and placed in the classroom library.
