Celebrate Black Teachers and Students

This project is part of the Black History Month celebration because it supports a Black teacher or a school where the majority of the students are Black.

My Project

My students are comprised of eight pre-kindergarten boys and eight girls, totaling sixteen students in all. Their ages range from 3 to 5 years old. They are inner-city urban youth who mostly come from single-parent low-income backgrounds.

Should you bless our students with your support they will be able to use their imaginations to create projects that are whimsical and unique!

As an educator of 36 years, I am in awe of their creativity. Using these "hands-on" materials (Magna-Tiles, play-dough, etc.) will bring the young artist great joy and a sense of accomplishment that will enable them to have confidence and a great sense of self.
