My Students

Have you ever learned how to do styrofoam printmaking in your art class? We realize today that art is connected to all subjects. There is so many things to learn and printmaking is perhaps one of the most fun. I teach grades Pre-K through 5th grade the Blueprints For The Arts.

We are in a Title I school with limited money for the arts, but that doesn't stop us.

We recycle, reuse and use our imaginations every moment we can. I was able to show one class how to do styrofoam printing and my other classes went wild. They saw the bulletin board that we put up, and now every one wants to learn how to do it.

My Project

I want my students to learn how to try all different types of projects. Styrofoam printmaking needs brayers, ink and foam to make a picture. If my students would have these supplies, they would be that much closer to meeting their goals in art. It's sad to see other schools show works of art that my school can't do because of the lack of funds for supplies.

My students would greatly benefit from your help.
