My Students

Have you ever wanted to create a wonderful work of art or publish your writing in a book?

My fourth grade class is made up of 32 children.

My school is located in Queens. We have over 40 languages spoken. All the children get free lunch and breakfast. We are a title 1 school. With the many budget cuts we do not have as many supplies to support the arts and publishing our writing in creative ways.

My Project

With the new paper we will be able to create books, collages, projects and drawings. We will use the scissors to create designs on our paper and publish our work creatively. Children love stencils when they feel like they are not good at drawing. These supplies will help us express ourselves creatively.

Please help us to create beautiful books and works of art.

With the decrease in funding my class does not get art this year. We try to add in art when we can. Art is a great way for children to express themselves and build their creativity.
