My Students

Have you ever wanted to create a beautiful work of art but not had the materials you needed? Help us to be creative.

My class is made up of 32 children from a variety of different backgrounds.

My school is a title one school in Queens. All of our student's get free lunch and breakfast. We have over 40 languages spoken in our school. My class is eager to learn and to explore their creative and artistic sides.

My Project

With these art materials like paper, erasers, colored pencils, and yarn we will be able to integrate the arts into our lives everyday. We will be able to create projects to display what we know about social studies. We can share our work with each other and use it to teach other kids and adults about what we are learning. We will be able to create books and collages to explore our feelings on a topic.

Please help us get these new materials to express ourselves creatively and connect the arts to our learning on a daily basis.

We love using new kinds of paper to create collages. We love to share what we learn with other people using art. Art allows us to express ourselves in another way other then writing.
