My Project

Help me provide alternative seating for my students! I teach third grade in the inner city of Milwaukee. Many of the students at my school live at or below the poverty line. As their teacher I want to be able to provide a fun, nurturing and high achieving classroom. One way I want to do this is to provide alternative seating. Sitting at a desk all day is hard for anyone! Let alone children that have other challenges as well.

The cushions, reading chairs, and seatback pockets will provide different areas in the classroom for students to read, write and socialize.
