Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
Having access to the right recourses is so important. Working in a Title I school makes it that much more difficult with funding. Funds are only available for the required district resources. Teaching Intensive Reading which help the students that are struggling readers, those district resources many times aren't enough.
Supplying my students with material to supplement and reinforce my lessons is essential.
Struggling readers benefit greatly from desk anchor charts. Interactive Journals help me guide the students through a lesson with ease. Additional assignments or projects are also helpful.
